Douglas 224 Chairman, Hilton Megaw and Honorary Member, Werner Labuschagne, attended this year’s 4F twinning arrangement between Northern Cape Area and North Natal Coast Area.
Unfortunately, I had all my dates mixed up and departed for Natal a whole week earlier and once I realised this, my bookings and arrangements had been finalised, however, I did manage to raid Ballito 221 monthly business meeting as well as Durban 2’s monthly business meeting on the same night, while waiting for the Northern Cape Area contingent to arrive in Durban. After a few hours of waiting, the Northern Cape Tablers arrived, after being treated by Pietermaritzburg 12 to a pittstop for a few cold ones and a great afternoon of Fun, Friendship, Fellowship and Fraternity!!!
Next day, I joined the rest of the Tablers from the Northern Cape for something to eat at Mozambik in Ballito, before they departed for Richard’s Bay for the NNCA AGM.
Low and behold, while waiting for my dear wife, (Mamma Llama) to pick me up, I bumped into Jaco “Kossie’ Steyn and Rudi Prinsloo and the fellowship picked up on a new level again. Meeting old friends for the first time!!!
