Winter Knights Augrabies 273

Wat n groot suksesvolle dag dit nie was nie. Ons Aurabies 273 span het hard gewerk aan ons winter knight projek en harde werk het ons beloon. Baie dankie aan Hoërskool Martin Oosthuizen vir hulle hulp met die insameling van klere en kosse vir die minderbevoorregtes. Dankie ook aan Upington Toyota wat ons gehelp het met die projek.

Augrabies 273 se manne is op die pad Villiersdorp 227 toe vir ons jaarlikse Twinning Visvang trip.

Augrabies 273 AGM 16 Feb 2019

What a night!!

 

On Saturday 16^th of February Augrabies 273 had their AGM.  It was an evening held in our Clubhouse in Augrabies, who knew that a well-known place like our clubhouse could look that good.

The day started with a meeting at our clubhouse with all our Current Portfolio holders and our Augrabies team. After the meeting had finished all members had a few drinks before heading home to get dressed for the evenings event.

Everyone started arriving at 18:30 and what a sight it was seeing everyone well dressed in their suits and the girls in their dresses. It was a night full of fun and games and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Our new team for 2019/2020 was chosen:

Hartswater Tri-Area Review

Hartswater Area

As the Northern Cape & Free State Tables gathered together in agricultural Vaalharts area, on the weekend of the 14^th of September we received a hearty welcome from the Hartswater Round Table and they’re families. Upon arrival it became clear that the weekend was well planned and greatly anticipated by all.

 

Friday night our togetherness was celebrated with a steak braai and mieliepap in the stretch tent outside their clubhouse. The fun started a bit early with Jaco van Zyl, Tjop de Vries and Attie Naude from Prieska Round Table arriving in full theme party attire, fishnets-the works!

 

 

 

The Saturday started with a big breakfast and bottles of Crème Soda and Castle Lite. Sean Trautmann proudly announced how the organization has grown in the last six months and how the aim of upper management is to keep Tafelaars happy and see them out until the age of 40 years. A big emphasis was placed on family and family values and of course doing our best to make a tangible difference within our country. 9 new members were inducted from Augrabies, Upington and Bloemfontein.

 

The Ladies Tour was a well-planned and brilliantly executed with a focus on getting to know the town and community of Hartswater as well as each other. The wives visited the pecan nut and olive factory and was taken on tour to the cotton factory, the other major commodity of the area.

Saturday night we were entertained by a brilliant performance by Jan Raap and of course the theme party: “Boer en sy Hoer” and from there the night continued with an abundance of hospitality and good will.

Sunday morning the good byes were said at the local Wimpy. All of us leaving with renewed enthusiasm and strengthened relationships.

Augrabies Induction

It is a privileged  to have been part of the Hartswater Tri-Area. so many memories were made for quite a few people, including two of our own.

Hansie Hanekom and Abraham Coetzee was officially inducted into Augrabies 273 Round Table and we are proud of them being part of such an amazing organisation.

Maandag aand was nog nooit so lekker om n vergardering by ons “Famous” Augrabies 273 Klub-Huis te hou nie.

Ons manne en n paar vrouens het ons reelings klaar getref vir ons Wynveiling wat die 13 Sept 2018 plaas vind.

Baie dankie vir almal wat dit kon gemaak het!!! 🙂

Winter Knights Projek

Waar begin n mens om dankie te sê aan elkeen wat hulle aand opgeoffer het om hierdie projek te ondersteun vrydag aand 27 Julie 2018. Hulle sê koue hande warm liefde so het ons dit ervaar bydie Winter Knights projek. baie dankie ook vir die gemeentskap vir hulle bydra tot ons projek.

 

Augrabies 273 skenk Lemoene aand ouetehuis

Augrabies 273 wil net vir “Dole – Fruit Care Services” baie dankie se dat ons vandag weer ons mede ou mense se harte bly kan maak. Hulle het vir ons meer as 900 lemoene  gegee om te help.

Upington ouetehuis se gemeente is baie bly om dit te kon ontvang. Hulle gaan die Lemoene gebruik vir “Jams” wat hulle weer gaan verkoop.

Trans Augrabies MTB Resies

Twee van Augrabies 273 se tafelaars “Abraham Coetzee en WH Gresse” was Sondag betrokke by die Trans Augrabies MTB resies, nie as deelnemers nie maar wel as helpers.

Dit was n ongelooflik pret dag in die Nasionale Park en die fietsryers het dit uiters baie geniet.
